Through the Thicket, and into the clearing
You’ve made it through the woods this far. Let’s find the path forward, together.
Trauma, burnout, or living with a neurodivergent mind in a world that wasn’t built for it can take everything you have. If you’re tired, that makes sense.
The ways you’ve learned to cope with stress are not signs that something is wrong with you. They are how you survived. They represent brilliant, adaptive armour that shows your natural resilience. Here, you never have to hide the messy parts. We’ll go at your pace, using evidence-based therapies to help you make peace with the past and work towards feeling steadier day to day.
Who I work with
You show up for everyone else. This is a place where someone shows up for you.
I work with first responders, military members, veterans, and healthcare workers, and any adult carrying trauma, burnout, or neurodivergence. I was a Primary Care Paramedic for over six years, so you won’t have to explain the job, the shift work, or the dark humour.
The three trails
The Clearing
Talk therapy to help you feel calmer and steadier. We’ll build simple tools to settle your body and mind, and make room for whatever life is handing you right now.
The Wayfinder
Practical, strengths-based support for neurodivergent adults, including those who are gifted and neurodivergent (sometimes called twice-exceptional, or 2e). We’ll learn how your brain works best and build routines that work with it, not against it.
The Deep Woods
Structured, well-researched trauma therapies that help painful memories lose their grip. We start by helping you feel steady and safe, and we never move faster that you’re ready for.
Who We Serve
The Birches Collective Wellness serves adults (19+) across New Brunswick, Canada through in-person and secure PHIPA/PIPEDA-compliant virtual counselling.
Please note: My practice is dedicated exclusively to one-on-one, individual therapy. While I occasionally provide collateral psychoeducation to partners to support my client’s individual healing, I do not provide couples or family counselling at this time.
